The serum Dr. Althea Gentle Retinol Serum triggers a cell renewal process that improves skin condition: evens out texture, tightens pores, prevents inflammation, and increases elasticity and firmness.

It eliminates dull tone and gently brightens pigmentation, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, slows down age-related changes, and leaves the skin smooth and radiant.

Thanks to moisturizing and nourishing ingredients, as well as the combination of retinol and bakuchiol, the product works gently, making it suitable for those who are just starting with retinoids.

The product has a gel texture and absorbs without stickiness. The pump bottle prevents formula oxidation, preserving all beneficial properties of the serum for a long time.

Contains 0.1% retinol (1000 ppm) — a form of vitamin A that stimulates cell renewal. Retinol normalizes sebum production, thereby preventing oily shine and comedones. It stimulates collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis. Smooths the microrelief, tightens pores, and reduces wrinkle depth. To minimize potential irritation from retinol, the formula includes bakuchiol — a plant-based active that stabilizes vitamin A.

Additional active ingredients:

• Bakuchiol — a plant-based substance with effects similar to retinol: stimulates renewal, makes skin smoother and more even. Does not cause irritation, suitable for sensitive skin. Stabilizes retinoids and enhances their effect.

• Panthenol (vitamin B5) accelerates healing, soothes and softens, enhances the barrier functions of the epidermis and strengthens the natural protective layer.

• Birch sap contains vitamins, fructose, sucrose, and organic acids. Saturates with beneficial minerals, tones, and maintains smoothness.

• Soybean oil has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, restores the moisture barrier, and reduces UV damage.

• Blue Complex-HR — a plant complex consisting of hyacinth, cornflower, lavender, sage, chamomile, and borage extracts. Soothes and softens, provides antioxidant protection.

How to use: after cleansing and toning, apply the serum to dry skin and distribute over the face. During the day, use a sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++.

Precautions: do not use simultaneously with peels or scrubs, or with products containing AHA, BHA, PHA, or high-concentration vitamin C. Do not use during current or planned pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or after cosmetic procedures. If you have not used retinol before, start with 2 times a week for 2 weeks, then gradually increase the frequency of use.
